Ghost Recon Breakpoint goes through Tomb Raider this year

It's really cool when studios like Ubisoft and Crystal Dynamics play well and share. At an indefinite time this year, Ghost Recon Breakpoint will have a Crossover Tomb Raider event. This has been announced as part of a rather vague roadmap for the rest of this year's content and events.

Since the creation of Ghost Recon in 2001, this year marks the 20th anniversary of the series. What Ubisoft has planned for 2021 includes several community competitions, gifts, a Ghost Recon nary Anniversary showcase and a stream of the next Operation Motherland extension. Somewhere among these plans will fall this cross.

Ghost The Crossover Tomb Raider is called Relics of the Ancients, which is quite matched to Tomb Raider jargon. Although Tomb Raider games (especially the most recent) are action / adventure games, they have the treasure hunt and exploration.

The open world element of Ghost Recon Breakpoint would lend itself very well in search of archaeological expeditions, although we do not know exactly what this crossover will eventually be. It could be a Skin Lara Croft to unlock for everything we know. However, past crosses for Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Wild lands previously had rather in-depth content events.

Perhaps we will see the ghosts fight against Trinity or some of the most supernatural beings that Lara meets during his adventures. We do not even know when players get this experience, just that it's before the end of the year.

Unfortunately, Ghost Recon Breakpoint did not attract the fans like Wild lands, so these events will only be for the purest and hard fans. Ghost Recon Breakpoint is available for PC, Stadia, PS4 and Xbox One.

What do you think that relics of the ancients will include? Let us know in the comments below.
