Buy Gaming PC 2022: Market situation, prices and build

The hardware market is burning. Hardly anyone had believed about the currently prevailing prices. The strongest affected are old and new graphics cards, all of which have become priceless in the purchase expensive.

Beginner PC for about 550-700 euros

The entry into the PC world is regrettably no longer as inexpensive as before the GPU preliminary explosion, because even weak beginner maps such as the GTX 1650 with 4 GIB scratch with at least 260 euros unpleasantly at the price-performance pain limit. For comparison: The very popular 2014 Published GTX 970 offers almost 15 to 20 percent more power for less money. The sticking point is at the age of GTX 970 and the "summary" VRAM of 3.5 and 0.5 give. Upon exceeding the 3.5 GIB video storage limit, which are achieved very quickly in Full HD for modern titles, can be expected to expect the exceptional memory connection with more refiners than below 3.5 GIB. The older AMD-GPU Radeon RX 570 to be connected from the Performance view between the GTX 970 and the GTX 1650 can be used as an alternative.

Lower middle class for about 1,000-1.100 Euro

Anyone who takes a little more money into the hand also gets significantly more performance and scope. AMD's popular efficiency processor with six cores and no integrated graphics unit, the Ryzen 5600x, is priced in view of the fresh Alder-Lake competition, because for around 100 euros less the Intel i5-12400F is a true snapper. The 12400F omitted like all Intel CPUs with the F on behalf of a graphics unit, but offers six cores as the AMD 5600X and refrains from the additional E-CORes of the stronger Alder-Lake brothers. B660, H670 and H610 mainboards can also avoid the more expensive Z690 variants, even if the Feature scope of course falls below.

Upper middle class for about 1,400-1,500 euros

The upper midfield unfortunately moves really in the price range of former high-end configurations. Again, the processors or the memory do not guilt, but the graphics cards. But it is also clear, the higher the performance, the more expensive the fun. Ultra-settings and maximum resolutions are not even more demanding titles without too much performance impulse. The Pascal Crown GTX 1080 Ti not only has 11 GIB video memory, but also has a proper force under the backplate for WQHD and 4K resolutions. However, as already in the lower middle class, the Pascal tip can rather than NVIDIAS DLSS-on AMD's FSR Upscaling or Nvidias Image Scaling in the drivers. Only raytracing is not an option, but simply missing the RTX tensor cores.

It's FINALLY time to Build a GAMING PC in 2022!

Lower class for about 1,900-2,000 euros

No, even at 2,000 euros is not powerful, but at least very high. 4K gaming is away from nvidia's low video memory without greater headaches. At the AMD 6700 XT with 12 GIB VRAM, the matter looks a bit weaker, but there is still enough memory for ultra-HD textures and optimized settings and upscaling also operators of 4K monitors are served.

High-end PC for about 3,000 euros and above

Of all high-end cards, AMDS 6900 XT with 16 GIB video memory for around 1,500 euros is probably the most attractive choice. The virtually just as expensive RTX 3080 with 10 GIB VRAM must already deliver the memory hat for titles like Far Cry 6 with Ultra-HD textures, even if the power would be abundant. The 1,700 to 2,000 euros expensive RTX 3080 Ti with two GIB more nestles with the topic of performance very close to the current GPU crown: the RTX 3090 with 24 Give VRAM and a proud price of 2,400 to 3,500 euros.
