Perfect Dark Report Details Surrounding Staff Departures

Recently it was noted online that Dan Neuburger from The Initiative, the now former director of the game for the restart, _, _ he had left the development team after years of working in the study. However, it seems that Neuburger is far from being the only developer who abandoned the study in the last year or so. A new report details not only a wave of additional outputs, but speaks that the impulse in the development of the game is "strongly affected" by these losses and frustrations with the development process.

Centered on Xbox Klobrille seen the departure from Neuburger after checking the LinkedIn profile of the developers. Neuburger previously worked in Crystal Dynamics for more than 12 years, the study known for his Tomb Raider games and the same one that was announced last year to work with The Initiative in the new _oscurity.

In addition to that exit, CVG reported that several other members of the Senior Game Leadership Team had gone in the last 12 months. Returning to LinkedIn again, it is shown that The Initiative currently has less than 50 people working in the study with previous developers who range from Senior Writers to the main engineer of the game and more, all left at some point during the last year. This, combined with the lack of contracting opportunities announced on the site of The Initiative (three in total), may mean that Crystal Dynamics is doing more than initially expected in the restart, speculates VGC.

The medium also interviewed several senior developers who had left the study with the former employees and described the wave of outputs as "rapid and furious" and also said that the development of the game was "very affected" for these changes. The interviewees also said they felt frustrated by feeling that they were not heard with respect to development priorities and other key issues. The former developers also said that Neuburger and the Director of the Darrell Gallagher study favored a top-down approach to the development of the game he was against what some developers expected.

Gallagher also used to work at Crystal Dynamics at a high-level position, so those interviewed by VGC alleged that Tomb Raider and Velgadores of Marvel Studio was incorporated in part because the development could move without problems if we work with a study that is already Familiar with the two main leaders.
